A little church with a wide front door
We are a community of believers gathered on Bruton Road in the Bruton Branch community of Hardin County, Tennessee. Our doors open onto farmland, lake country, and neighbors we are glad to call family.

Rooted where the roads meet
The name says it well. A crossroad is where paths meet — where the field road meets the highway, where one family's story meets another's. For generations, the Bruton Branch community has gathered near this corner to worship, to bury, to marry, and to eat together.
CrossRoads Community Church continues that heritage as a ministry arm of Balanced Life Ministry, sharing the same location historically associated with Bruton Branch Baptist Church. We are not starting something new so much as tending something old — a place of prayer and belonging for the people of this community.
Today you will find a handful of faithful families, a warm pot of coffee, a table that keeps growing, and a sincere desire to love God and love our neighbors well. If you are new to the area or new to faith, we would count it a joy to meet you.

Simple faith, held with open hands
We keep the main things the main things. These are the convictions that shape how we worship and how we live.
The Bible
We believe Scripture is God's trustworthy Word — our guide for faith, hope, and everyday living.
Jesus Christ
We believe Jesus is the Son of God, who lived, died, and rose again so that we might be forgiven and made new.
Grace
Salvation is a gift, not a wage. We come to God empty-handed and are welcomed anyway.
The Church
We believe followers of Jesus are meant to live in community — worshipping, serving, and carrying each other's burdens.
Prayer
We believe God hears us. Prayer is the heartbeat of this church — for our families, our neighbors, and our world.
Service
Faith shows up in casseroles and carpooling, in opening doors and holding hands. We serve because we have been served.

Part of the Balanced Life Ministry family
CrossRoads operates as a ministry arm of Balanced Life Ministry, sharing the same Bruton Road location and a common heart for whole-person discipleship — spirit, soul, and body.
Shared location & heritage — the same grounds historically associated with Bruton Branch Baptist Church.
Whole-life focus — caring for spiritual, emotional, and practical needs together.
A place to belong — a small congregation where you are known, not a number.
How we hope to be known
Hospitality
Every stranger is a friend we have not met yet. You will not sit alone.
Humility
We do not have all the answers. We are learning to follow Jesus together.
Faithfulness
Showing up week after week, for one another and for this community.
Come meet the family
The best way to get to know CrossRoads is to visit. We would love to hear your story and share a cup of coffee with you.
